About Festival

Sunrise Festival is one of the biggest festivals in the central-eastern Europe. The beautiful story has started in 2003, when for the first time the sounds of house and trance music were heard in the Kołobrzeg’s amphitheater. From the beginning of festival’s existence you could hear the biggest electronic music stars play. Each year we’ve been setting the bar higher and higher, to meet the participant’s demanding expectations. New stages, nowhere to be found scenography, breathtaking soundsystem, spectacular pyrotechnic show and artists from all around the world.

Kołobrzeg’s amphitheater turned out to be too small. We want to expand even more, that’s why in 2018 we’ve decided to move out. Since 2019 Sunrise Festival takes place in Podczele – on the ex-airport site. Due to this decision we’ve gained unlimited possibilities. The festival area have increased several times, what let us build 5 massive stages, on which nearly 100 artists representing nearly all sub-genres of electronic music from Poland and around the World played.

For the first time we’ve created SunCity. This is mainly a campsite. In our offer there are 3 camping types: basic (with your own tent), standard (including a pitched up tent with standard equipment) and premium (premium tipi tent for 4 people with beds and all necessary equipment). In SunCity you’ll find comfortable toilets, many food stands, hospitality areas where you can relax, rest and have fun. Only SunCity attendees are allowed to special Sunrise Festival pre-party taking place the day before the start of the festival.

To make your life even easier we’re introducing cashless payment method. At the festival you’ll pay for food, drinks or gadets with a contactless wristband. Watch with RFID chip will also be your ticket. Thanks to it you’ll quickly get through the entrace gates. You’ll be able to top-up your wristbands in dedicated points around the festival area.

Sunrise Festival it’s not only audio and visual experiences. There’s plenty of our partner’s services that you can use during the time of the event, such as: barbers, make-up artists, hairdressers, stylists, multimedia zone, photo booths and many more attractions. All of this, besides an exquisite musical feast allows the participants to feel like at the best event on the World.

In 2020 we’ll surprise once again! Especially for the beach enthusiasts we’ll create a Cafe Sunrise, which will be a chill-out zone located on the nearest beach. There will be plenty of great house and deep music, beach-bars and chill-out zones. Cafe Sunrise will be a place for gathering and resting on the beach. We want this zone to be opened throughout the whole summer season.

We’re raising the bar once again. This will be a special, 18th edition, full of novelties on the highest level. This is a special occasion to celebrate, that’s why we are increasing the area even more. Due to this we can accommodate 150 000 people! You can’t miss this!
